Location intelligence
Location that helps you run the day, not watch people
Where mobile employees are during working hours, the route they travelled and whether they reached the site. It applies to the groups whose work needs it, not to everyone.
- Scoped by role,so a supervisor sees their own team.
- Working hours only, and only for the groups whose work needs it.
- Audited,including who looked.
What changes when location is governed, not just collected
The day today
- Travel time is a guess, so routes are planned on optimism
- Nobody can confirm the engineer reached the site without a phone call
- The product you looked at last sold location as surveillance, and your works council noticed
- Office and hybrid staff are tracked because the tool cannot tell groups apart
The day with Emplitrack
- Access follows role and organizational scope, so visibility is where the work justifies it
- Location belongs to working hours and assigned work, and to nobody else
- Coordinates become states you can act on: travelling, at a customer, on a break
- The day becomes one timeline, which settles most disputes in a minute
Governance
Say the uncomfortable part first
Location data is easy to collect and easy to misuse. Plenty of products in this category sell it as surveillance. We do not, and that changes what gets built.
- Office and hybrid employees usually do not need it at all
- Every important action is written to an audit ledger, including who looked
- The activity timeline belongs to workforce intelligence, and is in build
Where it stands
Marked here the same way it is marked in the demo.
Live today
3In production, with customers, now.
- Live location during working hours
- Route history
- Geofences and visit marking
In build
3Scoped for the enterprise release. Never sold as shipped.
- Derived states such as travelling or idle
- Configurable thresholds
- Offline capture and sync
Common questions
Can we turn location off for some employees?
Yes, and you should where it is not justified. Policy-driven control over which groups use location is part of the policy engine in build.
Are employees tracked outside working hours?
They should not be, and the policy controls it. Set it deliberately, tell your people, and write it into your own employee privacy notice.
What if there is no signal?
Marks and visits need a connection at the moment they are made. Offline capture with later sync is in build.
Do you sell location data?
No. Your data is yours, and it is not a product we sell.
